There was a case recently of a group that tracked wannabe gun collectors through the pictures they posted and the data stored in them. A lot of them removed the data before posting pictures of guns or the sites did it for them. But they found most of them through photos posted on other sites that had nothing to do with guns but they were posted by the same screen name.

If it's the shipper I think it is they will be tracking you also. And not following their rules puts you at risk.

That was very similar terms to what I had to do when I worked for a company a couple years ago. They didn't want you stopping for two hundred fifty miles. The predict was bulk baby formula which they claimed as a high theft load because they use it to mix with their drugs. They told us to watch the mirrors and call anything suspicious.
