I am researching Rhoehl in depth and wanted the straight scoop on expected rotations (road/home) and if there is a waiting list after the prehire/orientation and how long that might be. I am looking to go OTR
Very interested in Rhoehl

I too have been doing research on Roehl also. I finally got a start date with them for Qualifaction day on April 4th. From my understanding they got great hometime and get you home when your scheduled. If your so worried about hometime then forget about doing OTR with any company. But i have heard that Roehl does have one of the better hometimes depending on where you live.

Although I have been doing no "research" on them,2-3 weeks ago I was listening to a Roehl driver on the C.B. on I-94 in Wi.,he was talkin about how he was sick of being lied to,never home, bad miles, etc.,he was NOT a happy Roehl camper..I hope your "research" is more in-depth than just checking out websites and talkin with recruiters...Just sayin...- Do as YOU want..

I have been looking at where to go for a while now, and while no company is perfect, I think Roehl is going to be the best for a new driver. I hope it is anyway, I am headed to RDTC on 4/11.

And I hope it is for everyone also, and although I would NEVER base any decision on one drivers opinion,my point is this,-if "research" consists of websites and recruiters, well, there WILL be a very rude awakening call, can I say,DOWN THE ROAD...

what other options do we have besides message boards, hoping to get 1st hand information?

I have always been taught that its best to get info from the horses mouth. And last I check this was a Trucker's Forum for those that are in trucking and the wannabe's to get the info on other trucking companies or just to vent. Now if there was another way of getting the info on Roehl or any other company that i would like to know seeing how some people reading forums is'nt good enough.
Just my $.02 -
People on forums can lie very easily along with recruiters. Head to your local truckstop and find the trucks of the companies you are interested in. Most of them, if they have the time, will gladly talk to you about the company.

Good call. I've seen a few Rhoehl trucks up here in RI. I'll just offer them candy and cigarettes lol
