Very new trucker here......

    ....well not really even a trucker yet, got my CDL on Thurs., graduated Trucking School yesterday. So looking forward to getting out there!!!!

    Scheduled for orientation on the 30th of this month and can't wait to get started....yes I chose Werner, but I'm going with three friends that took the same driving school and we're going to change Werner's reputation all on our own!

    LOL, very excited to get on the road, feel free to throw any advice you can my way!

    I think he lives in Texas & will be back on here soon looking for a good job. All those $60K - $65K jobs in Texas and people still go with starter companies. Oh,well xlsdraw, we try don't we? Another driver in Florida recently said the same about Werner, that it was the perfect company for him and he doesn't care what others say. Within a month he quit and suffering from depression because he's not making any money. Again, those $60K tanker jobs in Florida and he chose Werner.
    Well, hope it works; Werner works for some people.

    Yes, from Lubbock, Texas....

    ....and I've heard the stories about the starter companies, both good and bad. Everyone that has anything good to say about Werner blames the drivers for not making money....everyone that says something bad about Werner blames the company. I'm heading to Werner with three other guys from my school and we've done quite a bit of research. By no means am I saying I know what I'm talking about, just wanted you to know I'm not walking into this blind.
