If he never truly intends to pull a trailer license it at 25k total weight no apportion or IFTA needed. If my thinking is right. I have made mechanics trucks outta several Pete's never had an issue out of it.

Side note, the new movie is being filmed downstate right now, plenty of Optimus sightings on 96. I saw a bobtail out east this last week, I wanna say it was on 90. They were westbound, I did a triple take....

The newest movie they changed him to a western star. Bunch of crap imo. Optimus should be the same cabover he was in 1980.

Officer wont be pissed off. There is usually a wolf pack that will consume everything you offer up to them of value, including bleats of I didnt know officer. So sorry officer applied liberally and correctly with the right flavor or submission will help yourself out.

If it is any officer at a scales that got my goat was the in LA at Tallaluah I think it was ARGH!!!! off that 20. WIfe blew past the tiny rusted 15 mph sign at 40 standing on the ABS and plops the whole thing onto the platform to sway forward and back now while i pondered just what I am going to have to do to extradite this thing from this mess.

Officer: Sir, your spouse drive. Did you or did not tell her speed 15 in my scale?
    Me: No.
Officer: Why should i have my wife train with you if you are unable to pertain pertinent information to exact usage as required by Laws in our State of Louisaina.
    Me: Well Sir

    RETHORICAL BOY!! RETORICAL...

Me: battens down hatches mentally preparing for battle with green water on the bridge and greybeards over th forcatle because this will take a while.

To this day my wife does not underatand. But she loves their food. So what I did is write SCALE, LA

Large LA Shield then 10 mph put it all on the dash when in state.

    That worked out well.

You will not need anything special, it will be registered with either a recreational vehicle or regular truck plate since it is for personal use. You will need to maintain your class A since you are from PA, we have a non-commercial class a,b,and c license structure for drivers of recreational vehicles. You will not need the medical card since it is not commercial. The only thing I am unclear on is fuel tax, PA requires fuel tax on all vehicle with 3 or more axles, and the law does not exclude recreational vehicles as far as I can tell.

    Have fun and enjoy.

I don't know as I've never seen it, but.. Can he get one of the drives converted to a drop axle? Like we have on 3-8 axle trailers here in MI. Would that allow him to get around the 3 axle rule for taxes? I know in our yard we have a tractor that has only 1 drive axle, the rear axle is simply a "dummy" there for weight. Should not be too hard to to lift it up when not in use. Would save both taxes and the tire life,.
