Well you better look. Chances are you have out of round cheap tires. Steel wheels are not round, aluminum is as close as you will get. Need to use alignment pins to center wheels to hubs even if you spin balance wheels. If they are a tier 3 brand tires. Its your issue.Another Canadian driver and OldeSkool Thank this. -

Have it jacked up and use a runout Gauge to check tire out of round. Ill bet its your issue. Might tru them up and get decent life. Might be basketballs for life. Not all tires and rims are round.Another Canadian driver, baha and OldeSkool Thank this. -
The tires are General Ameri•Steel. I think I’m going to start by having them checked.

I have a vibration issue on my semi from 60 going up to 65 it has a slight vibration but once I’m at 65 and let off gas it seems to have more vibration. I have new drive tires, driveshaft is ok from understanding of mechanics I take truck in for pm. Steer tires seem to have river wear on them no flat spots though it’s hard locating what the issue is. Can mainly feel it in the front not much in steering wheel.

1) your drag link is very loose. you can pull on it and it will move when it shouldnt....drag link is on the driver side of the engine..
2) your tie rods that connect your tires will need to be replaced. tgats the long pipe like bar underneath that when you move the steering wheel the tires move left and right
3) steering wheel alignment.....believe it or not ....the alignment goes out in the rigs and like with my steer tires started wearing from the outside on each side.
I got an alignment on my 2014 pete and turns out both tires were facing outwards and the truck steering was always shaky.
these 3 things I got done along with new steers and fixed my issue
good luckAnother Canadian driver and Danny77 Thank this. -

Since I started this post quite a while back I took the worthless Goodyear steer tires off after they went out of round at nearly half tread and just put some Firestones on. Still have the vibration. Still have the same drive tires. If it still does it once I replace them guess I’ll keep looking.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
