    i managed to "bypass" the roadblocks and got home yesterday.

    the scrub flared up again, but didnt amount to much.. so i post this from home running off generator power....

    Good to hear man. I hope they catch all the rats involved in that. I heard on the news this morning that they had a couple of people in custody.

    Hey Agent, are you guys allowed to set your own back fires or burn your own yards to protect yourself and property. I know here in TX that is done a lot. Mostly at night when the winds subside a bit. Hope it rains soon . You guys have been catching Hell.

    BD, when its not a fire ban day i THINK we can with aproval.. but its not recomended or encouraged..

    the land management morons are coping hell for their no burn policys now..
    A few of us have been saying when she goes up, its all gonna go up..

    Never more have i wished to be proven totally wrong.

    Glad your Family are all good Agent.

    My family in Australia have trucks and heavy equipment and they have been pushing for a long time to have controlled burns, when the season and weather permit, as when there are any major fires in the area all there equipment is pulled out off the bush and sent to the fires, to doze in fire breaks.

    Land management and National parks needs to pull there head out of there rear ends and take a look at the bigger picture.
