I really appreciate your help and this is good info. Any way i can look into service history especially milage. Id like to know when was it last serviced and what the original milage is. Maybe he swapped the engine? Or maybe he reached 1,750,000 miles? Not sure if western star will show the "1" for the million or will it reset back to zeros on the dash.

Maybe have the place where your looking at the truck plug into the ecm and see if the miles match up with what shows up on the odometer. Otherwise I'm not sure how much more info you can get, maybe find out from previous owner where it was serviced at or work done at a shop. Maybe Cummins might have records of engine work done but if it was done outside of cummins it probably wont get reported. Maybe someone else can chime in and help you. Good luck

    Rasim Thanks this.

For a running $15000 truck it doesnt matter if its 750 or 1.7m. If the truck looks good, then thats that.

It is too old for we as dealers to look any service history up on it. In fact because it was pre-Daimler we really can't do much for you.

Kelowna built. Back before Daimler got their hooks into them and turned them into junk.
