Hello folks. I hope all of you are staying safe and doing well.

So I bought my second truck. I was wondering if any of you can recommend any company for the various decals I will need. I used a local print shop for my first truck and the product was kind of bush league.

So I have a few questions. I was on a couple of websites and they mentioned "transfer cut". My logo is a little complicated so I figured this wouldn't work well. Is there any specific cut and/or finish I should get? I went on several companies' websites and I saw a big disparity in prices between them. One company charged as little as $24 and another as much as $350. How can there be such a wide range? What did you guys pay for your work? I mean, $24 is GREAT if it's not junk (which I assume it IS).

    Looking forward to your replies.

The cheap ones just cut the letters out and layer them on top of one another if you want multiple colors. The vinyl is usually cheap and thick and a pain to remove. The expensive places print your design on the same piece of vinyl and it’s higher quality vinyl.

I could cut it for you if it's just company name and dot numbers ur looking for , I have the machine at the house.
but I don't have the ability to print a logo with multiple colors..

Transfer cut is just meaning that it is cut to shape and transfered to a tape making it ready to apply to your truck.

If you have any companies local to you that can print wraps for cars. That would be the place to go where u will get the best print quality.

Yeah, I was reading about it and it mentioned having to do a lot of cuts. So for intricate logos I figured that it would be very difficult and pricier.

Vinyl printing machines are quite a bit of money.. good quality meaning a shop that does it for a living and has a printer for printing car wraps and business wraps . Cost alot of money to buy/maintain that equipment . of course a guy could get it done for less than 50 bucks but you get what you pay for

When I redid mine a year ago it was right around $600 for everything and that included removing the old stripe. Going to a place that prints on one piece will be higher quality and won’t fade because it gets sealed before it goes on the truck.

It really depends on what you want. One or two colors that just letters and numbers can be simple with cut letters from a roll of colored vinyl. Multicolored and color fades in the letters look best printed.

I get all my lettering from DIY lettering. Com

Not a whole lot of color choices and I don’t know if you can get any special logo done.

They do ship very fast though
