Wow I once had an ultrasound on my testicles. That was embarrassing. And of course I couldn't get the old Helga type nurse it was some young very attractive lady. Oh and the place was called women's center.

 

All kidding aside for just a moment... Male prostate cancer is as prevalent or more so than female breast cancer!

I finger up the patootie is a small discomfort to help stay alive as long as possible.

But yes, I am glad that my Doc is a cute blonde woman... with thin fingers!

The whole finger thing is a bit outdated.. they have lab tests that can see more that a finger can.. especially in the dark..

 

If you do feel that way, you will get over it quickly. Are you serious that you have NEVER had a physical? If that is the case, and you are old enough to get your CDL, then it is time you had one. It isn't pleasant, but it also is not the end of the earth. You don't show your age on your profile, but if you mature enough to get a CDL, then you should be able to handle a physical.

It always made me wonder though when the doc talks about an "educated finger." Had a urologist talk with me about that when I had my vasectomy, oh so many years ago. Never went back to him after that. . .

Where do you plan on getting your physical.... a men's hair salon?

You should be going to a doctor and the last time I checked, that was their profession. If you are being touched in an inappropriate way and yet you can still the doctors hands then yes something is wrong.

Most DOT physicals are pretty cut and dry and there's not much to them. Eye chart, heart beat, blood pressure etc.... Occasionally head turn and cough but not usually.

But yes my last DOT was at a concerta and yes it was a female doc and it was the ball grab and turn and cough. nothing inappropriate about that all. Just better scenery.

 

Ya I don't know about that. I think the OP is genuinely a bit nervous about getting his jingle jangled!

A friend of mine just died a month ago of prostate cancer. They could have caught it 20 years ago if he had not been allergic to the doctors. He found out due to the pain when it metastasized to the bones. It then went to his liver and kidneys and then to his brain. He died demented, in denial, and in horrific pain.

Bite the bullet and get a physical. Doctors are not trying to be sexual. There is no sex involved.
