There are fmcsa whistleblower protections. Document everything and in the meantime, start looking for a new job.

    I'm not trolling.

You came here for advice. I gave it to you.

Liberals and non-marines are not the only snowflakes...

Snowflakes are those that don't accept that it is what it is, and keep it moving. They appear to want to be coddled.

It does not matter to me whether u was (is) a one-tough-marine or not. You want experience...and someone is willing to share it with you. Just be level headed, get what you can, and keep on stepping when time comes. That is all.

All this "lawyering" up, is just snowflakey to me.

Arkansas would pull that person for about 90 days or until court and assess fines etc. It's really bad to be already revoked (Which means you were already prior suspended... btw...) and get caught again? It's on him.

I can train you, but not on a public road or for hire as a employee. Literally there isnt anything there except knowledge. So I cannot be a trainer. However I can teach you things or pass on stories, some of which were passed on to me. That's a form of tribal knowledge. If that makes any sense to you.

Makes complete sense. I have worked for a towing company for the last two years and mainly operated freightliner with the GVW of 26,000lb, however violating that weight limit was done all of the time due to towing laws for police contracting were a grey area. I'm use to driving and being behind the wheel.
With this new company the difference is the type of haul. We mainly focus on doubles and dolly equipment here. My main concern as said before is to be safe in all aspects. I am glad I do have support of some of the more veteran users on here.

I went into a employer once and despite a solid pile of medical charts of very recent creating per FMCSA and reviewed by them at the Fed Level by the way... that was a bit scary because THEY could pull my class A at that time.

I visited a lawyer after being refused employ due to a particular unsuitable testing ground, lawyer told me two things. First the limitation on time has run out, and second the employer can pick from a bus load of people who can hear better than me and it's absolutely legal. I have no case. I just took too long hemming and hawing.

I had a friend who managed a good small shop. He noticed his owners coming in to raid the motherload regularly in amounts that scared him because he cannot balance the store every night. I told him to document everything as it happened. 8 months later the state got involved in some way to that particular person, and it was time to turn over those papers to the prosecutors to protect himself.

It was a lesson I never forgot. I dislike legal battles and lawyers even more. However we are supposed to be the industry that follows the Law.

Take this OP. He's documenting problems in his company and proceeding to document his own violations of the HOS. Ive pounded the table a couple of times on that.

I have said in the beginning look for another company. There has to be a better situation out there than this... really amazing situation that opened for me some new thinking. Does the company benefit from a non citizen passenger with prior knowledge and no pay who has to hide from Gunny when Gunny comes out looking for that accounting? (Scales?) does the company save lots of money by not paying trainer?

This is not a proper training manuver. It's not. It cannot stand. If you are not in order and squared away, you get busted and pay the gunny. This whole situation is not in order.

I enjoyed talking and thinking about this. But when we get side tracked a few times it's going to be difficult to get it back on track for those who don't catch up yet. Im one of those who side track alot myself. It's a flaw.

I myself was a trainer several times, approved, signed off on by officers of a company in several depts and responsible entirely by the book issued to me to my trainees to make sure they learn enough to perform graduation day tests that determine if they are trained before final hire and issue own truck or approved for team seat to continue employ. It's pretty formal and by the book, rote drill and some teaching plus a dallop of ... quick fixing a problem for the better good of the company if possible if that rig went sideways as it did on ice once or twice.

I have thought about what happens if the industry suddenly realizes they can stick unqualified and unlicensed souls into the pax seat to shout at you when you re doing something wrong for little to no pay. That's not going to work, it's has to be a full blooded trainer able to stand on his own two feet.

I think enough is this post. I had a couple other thoughts but we will round em up eventually Im sure.
