What are you competing with tho? You won’t see Punjabi driving for swift rates of 47cpm, you won’t see Punjabi drive 2500 miles a week like Americans do. Maybe in Canada which we don’t care about. It’s easy to point fingers and blame everyone else around you when it’s your own who created the problem.

lol true. Musk is disgusting and should be deported back to Africa. Tesla and space X are mostly South American folks who are here on visas working for cheap without benefits, living in trailer homes 20 people in 2 rooms. But American farmers and truckers still think musk is an all time American hero and it’s the immigrants who creat issues…

I got one question..does this pause include not extending current visa’s? If not then there’s 65k potential extensions available for 2025.

Montana, Florida and Massachusetts rely heavily on these work visas for truck drivers.

Montana really surprises me so I wonder who’s asking for them/getting them..

 

If they pull those visa's in Canada, rates will be shy high because the majority of 75% to 85% are foreign born or foregin born but established citizenship so it difficult to tell. However, the amount of Cdl job ads I'm seeiing posted by major carriers here is unprecedented. 'The jig is up' and plenty of those carriers want English speaking Canadians to haul their customers freight or brokers eliminating future problems. I already heard that plenty of foreigners who drive for Canadian Carriers are already being turned back from customs around visa stipulations. At this rate things should be readjusted by spring or summer of 2026.

 

Don't start on me with how your fellow Ukranians drive 4000-5000 miles per week with editable ELD. One hungry fresh immigrant does work of two regular dudes. There comes your competition . The same as Punjabis. They don't drive regular 2500-3000 miles

 

I’m not proud of the terrorists that drive 5k miles, sleeping 4hours a day. The competition is a swift or Schneider driver working for $800 a week… that’s the real competition and the reason why driver pay is complete crap.
