i work for vitran for 7 years big mistake was staying hoping things would get better never did
if they last another year i will be suprised

 

well we got our raise from vitran, it was a whole $.006. that is right you didn't read it wrong. a whole 6/10 of one penny per mile. yahoooooo I'm getting somewhere now. i understand that the two main hubs near me got over a nickle raise (2x). just cause they needed more drivers. daaaah why do you think we quit???? there is not a nite when i hear of a driver quitting or at least looking for another job. they are suppose to be getting some new pups. yea, i bet they are getting them from the junk yard to match the rest of their equipment. excuse me, pups, i should have said from the impound yard. last week i hauled a trailer where i was wondering and waiting for the back door to fall off the trailer. and this is common for their equipment. i talked to one driver and they moved his terminal 50 miles away. and they offered him a job there. and they did this to keep from having to pay the unemployment ins. cause they could say he turned down the job. nice isn't it????
