I am running on the way and the voltage shows 15.2 around 2 hours. Then it shows around 14.6.I have checked the battary and even have the TEC checked my truck .They told me to replace the alternator. But I think the problem is just the regulator.
Does Volvo 670 has the voltage regulator separate ?Can I just replace the regulator ?If so, where can I get that?
Thanks!
voltage high

Regulatot is inside in alternator. Check wires on alternator. Ground and small wire for voltage sensing. If everything is tight replace the alternator. Dont run with high voltage or be ready for expensive electronic repairs.

Charge sense wire might be disconnected or bad connection
