I want to say that I had a similar problem with my truck when I got it about 6 years ago, but I'm not 100% sure. I think it was freezing up, and I could push the AC off button for a bit, then turn it back on and it would work for like 15 minutes. I'm pretty sure I replaced the temperature sensor behind the blower motor to fix it. It's not that hard to replace, I just don't know if it is the cause of your issue. There are some videos that show the process of removing the dash to get to the blower motor. The blower slides out and you can replace the probe, then put it all back together in reverse order. Don't force anything if the dash doesn't come off, make sure you get all the bolts and it should come out pretty easy. There is one hidden under the speaker.
Look from 3:50 to 8:30 for a general idea of removing the dash and blower. Once removed, you'll see the probe mounted near the coils. Just be careful not to bend the fins around there.Last edited: May 30, 2022

This is a compressor issue and control/regulator issue . Replace both . Pump down and vacuum then add new refrigerant . This will not be fixed at any pressure adjustment .God prefers Diesels Thanks this.
