Volvo 670 2012 ac problem

    Hi all, fan keeps shutting off. If I tap on it, it will come back on for awhile, but if I turn the switch to turn it up or down, it shuts it off immediately. The AC in the bunk is working fine, just not up front. I just replaced the resister, same thing still happening. I'm stuck at a stop for the weekend in the heat, have my dog w/ me who definitely needs the AC working properly. My next step is to replace the fan...any thoughts or anyone had this problem? Any help is appreciated!

    check and wiggle around fan control in the cab most likely blower motor is done just need a new one

    Blower motor ,just replaced mine,along with the resister.1job.you gonna have to pay twice to access the darn thing.btw got the same symptoms like you.might also be a module, but that s expensive, $400plus Canadian. Good luck

    Replaced resister for $85, then bought the blower motor from the dealership for $138. Replaced them both myself so not to bad. Thanks for the response.

    Nope, worked for a day with new blower motor. Now no AC at all.

    does blower work or no can you hear it spinning and if so did you put the sensor that was mounted on the blower motor on properly maybe it is possible it froze the system
