    You still can run 18' of co ax from a dash mounted CB. Perhaps, you should try mounting an antena on the back of the truck behind the sleeper. I have seen drivers with 387s, T2000s, 379s, 389s, and Cascadias with antenaes mounted like that.

    They don't get out very good between the cab and truck on the condo models, unless you get the antenna above the trailer.......in my experience.
