Volvo d12 2007 fuel pressure problem

I know this is an old post but what was end cure

 

A couple posts back he reported it was a bad fuel pump.

 

Hello, just wondering how did you know it was a bad fuel pump after already installing a new one? I'm having the same problem 07 d12 and I've replaced everything you have. Except for the cups. Although I can get it run using ether but when the can is empty, it shuts down. I have replaced check valve, air pressure valve, fuel pump, acc drive, filter housing, davco filter. Just wondering how to know if the new fuel pump is bad?. Please let me know thanks.
