    I have a 06 d12d 18 speed 4:30 gears.

I haul 140,000lbs and my pyro is usually at 600, on a hard pull I will see at most 650 and if coasting on flat road 500. can be 35 Celsius out pulling a hill at 1200 or 1800 rpm and not above 650.

if pulling hard and I go above 1850 rpm I will get a egr tempura ture value too high code which goes away when I drop the rpm again.

turbo boost is 35 to 38 lbs, no leaks in system. I pressure test each service. oil pressure steady at 60, coolant temp cycles normal.

just curious because I have read of guys hauling light loads with a d12 and way higher egts.

i would assume you're gearing and the 18 speed has a lot to do with it also the fact that you know how to drive and monitor everything with the truck is the reason you have normal egt some of these guys on here with high egt i believe are not familiar with d12 and some probably don't even pay attention
