Volvo D12 throwing code for injector 2 and jumping from 1,2,3

Just bought my truck a few months ago and figured I’d post things I’ve come across. I’m no mechanic but doing all the work myself. My wire harness was leaking from the injector harness when I bought it. I removed it and replaced the oring and placed it back with some rtv on the outside to buy sometime. So when my injector 2 started giving me a code I instantly thought it was the harness as I took it out and its brittle. I first unplugged the injectors and cleaned the plugs for the harness. Everything worked again for a week or two. Then it threw a code for injector 1 and then 3. So I was almost certain it would be the harness. Well I replaced the harness and while I had the valve cover off realized that the spring on injector 2 was broken. If you replace your own injector make sure you get the trim spec off the injector unless you have an aftermarket tune. After the injector and harness replacement I have had no issues with the injector since.
