Volvo d13 cracked piston

    I actually have no idea i have never done a bypass on a truck just used to deal with the headaches of fixing them, never had to buy an emulator but only way i have seen it fixed is with that, the piston cracked because your engine can not deal with the temp the tune in your truck makes there is very few people that will tune per truck most will just upload a program, best person to explain this to you is @QUALITYTRUCK he would be able to assist you further in this matter i believe.

    You need to install one whenever you delete EGR you need to keep an eye on exhaust temperature, especially when you fully loaded and climbing those mountains. You can find one on amazon by glowshift they work alright, cheaper ones for like 35-40$ dont last maybe a couple months and the probe burns out and don’t read anymore.

    @Newto Trucking what year is your truck and what is the maximum boost it produces?

    It’s 2013 425hp xe package with ishift maximum boost I see in 10th gear is like 38psi. On a boost gauge it’s right in the middle between half and 3/4.
