I am having the same problem with mine. What did you do to resolve your issue?

Replace thermostat or check if engine fan is running all the time one of the two.

Mine is doing the same thing. I replaced the thermostat and the coolant temperature sensor. Also the pipe the blue one from the turbo to the intake has some exhaust leakage and was replaced with a new one. Still don't go more than 170 degrees when I drive and 170 on idle but is not going to 150 sometimes like before. The new D13 is a crap engine. I feel sorry I sold my Volvo 2006 to get the crappy 2016 Volvo. But my advice is to check for any exhaust leakage somewhere. The thermostat should be ok. Have you found your problem?

Mine improved a little after radiator was replaced (not for that reason, but it was cracked). They don’t hold temperature. Buy winterfront and go about your day.
