Most likely injectors are done sorry to be the bearer of bad news but cups and injectors most likely cause.

Agree - hard start on the Volvo is a likely result of at least one or more bad injector or cup. Check the return line in you passenger side tank. You may need to fast idle to see it but if there are bubbles in your return line that is air getting into the system and it is usually due to a failed injector or cup.
