Looking @ a volvo 2015 its got a tranmission ATO2612D in it which is overdrive. The rear ends are 2.64. The hp is 455. Curious about longhauling with that kind of truck and at 65mph what rpms would i be doing? I cruise at 65 everywhere dont understand these new ratios as i ran only 13pds any know aprx rpms for 65 for this 2.64 ishift setup? Thnks also Flatbeds we typically haul 40k loads.

You will be fine running in 11th gear with 2.64 rears. 11th gear will be direct drive.

The Volvo I'm in is newer but has very similar I-Shift tranny with a 425 HP D13... And its got 2.26 rears according to the door frame sticker. It does decent, not a boss at climbing... But I definitely am not the last one to the top either. I run from the Rockies to the Midwest and back every week, very often grossed out at 80k and it does real good for me.
I'm sure if you cruise at 65 you will be satisfied with those gears.Mdavid0614 Thanks this. -
About 1150 in overdrive.
You will like this setup, it's perfect behind the power curve of the XE - D13 motor... Lots of torque. 1050-1400 rpm sweet spot. -
