Volvo headlights dim

I have the same problem with a 2007 vnl430.
Before i go and buy stuff, im wondering what would be best.
A bixenon hid 6000k kit vs
A 12000 lumens LED bulb. I have seen the led bulbs on the new volvos and the look pretty good.
Whats going to give me more output?

I know this is a really old post and old thread but where do you buy this kit? I have a 2013 780 and I'm sick of this dim low beam junk, too.
