Glad your going. But remember under no circumstances do you pull or drag a Ishift or Mdrive without pulling all 4 axle shafts. You will make a bad situation, worse.

Right. Mine does this too. It's been down low before. All it's ever said is "low air pressure", but the particular code that comes up at this time for trans, goes away when the air hits 60 psi ( i think usually). So same thing as yours, except mine does temporarily have the trans code until the air pressure is up and then no issues. Until now anyway.
Axle shafts? I think you mean drive shafts, right? If they pulled all 4 axle shafts, they'd be dragging the frame I guess, or riding on brake chambers. Not being a smarta**, just a shop recently messed up one of my axle shafts trying to replace a wheel seal so they had to replace it, along with the hub. -
No I do not mean drive shaft. Volvo procedure is to remove all 4 axle shafts. Or rear tow.
-
Seriously? I did not know that.
jamespmack Thanks this. -
Sounds like someone is about to get the shaft.
-
Them, and Mack want all 4 pulled or all 4 in the air. You pull that truck inches and it makes junk out of the trans. I argue the drive shaft point also. But the claim to avoid accidental rotation.86scotty and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this. -
Well they didn't pull it anywhere. They put air in the tanks and it started the truck. So I drove it to their shop from there.
