liner Thanks this. -
Glad to see that others know how to calculate conversions correctly.
-
I believe you got it mixed up, although I did have a guy with a Superliner powered by a Signature Cummins claim to have used more than a gallon per mile with a bad load in high winds. -
Was watching Megatruckers on Netflix. They were hauling a complete D10 or D11. 700 meters per litre they claimed on that haul.
-
Anyway, they sold the lot and kept a bit by a rail siding where there is 1 of the D10s and the D11 still sitting there, waiting to be moved.
A D9 parked next to the big ones looked small. I'm guessing fuel used per mile when moving one isn't really high priority.AModelCat Thanks this. -
In western Canada the cowboy truckers wear 45.4 litre hats, in the United States the cowboy truckers wear 38 litre hats.

7.2 imp mpg does indeed equal 6.0 us mpg.BigHossVolvo, magoo68 and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
AModelCat Thanks this.

I get 3.7mpg with loaded 55,000kg GVW super B decks and 5.6mpg pulling the decks empty, with the D13 with 3.58 ratio, I-shift. Not great! Those are the trip computer numbers.
uncleal13 Thanks this.
