And it explains now, why all the information the dash shows, are always wrong.

 

I have always found the DIC [driver information center ] to be accurate just that it shows ALL the fuel used since the last reset. it doesn't reset everytime you stop. If you really want to ''trick it then wait until you get at a steady speed then reset it. Or wait until you are going down a hill.
The other thing is if you are switching between lph and mpg, lph is based on imperial and mpg is based on us gal.

On a thread like this too many people figure things differently.

1974 Louisville 335 9513 433 rear grossing 13000 lbs got 3.9 mpg us
2008 550 cat with emissions intact 6.2 mpg us with 75000 lbs.

 

No a 3406B is known as a four and a quarter CAT. 893 cubic inches or 14.6 liters.

The C 15 is 15.2 liters
