My drivers side antenna cable is almost cut through, held together by a single wire thread, I assume was getting pinched when door opens. I only use a two-way radio using the factory connection in the upper slot above the windshield. Do the left and right antennas both serve the same function, ie do I need both or will my two-way continue to work without the drivers side antenna connected. I won’t bother fixing if no impact.
