    I have an O6 78O. Does anyone know where i can purchase things like brakes, slack adjusters, etc online??? It seems i cant find anyplace that sells volvo parts.

    Those parts should be available at any truck parts supplier.

    They're not Volvo specific.

    As ralph said - those arent Volvo specific. Try www.newlifeparts.com

    They are pretty friendly in Atlanta and right down the street from a customer.

    ok, it seems i have to go to volvo dealer for almost everything...... and i love ebay, but it seems i have to know part #'s and i hate that.....because i never know them

    see i still need part numbers on this website too....cant i just type in my truck type and get the brakes LOL

    Volvo use Knorr Bremse, Wabco, Bendix and Haldex brake components. Volvo truck does not make any brake part

    You may need to start with a Volvo dealership and your vin# to find out what the part number is for something specific, but once you have that part number you could check with other suppliers.

    Thats the thing hardlyevr, volvo isnt like freightliner, they wont give out the part number!!!! I know the guys at the service shop unfortunately very well, but parts, not so much....
