If you want to eyeball the adjustment, you want to set the height so the air springs aren’t sitting too high up off the base, but not so low that they look deflated.

Post a picture of the back of the cab with the air spring inflated and I could tell you if it’s set right.

I can’t say what type of shocks you have but I’ve had my shocks literally go out within a day after putting them on.

sometimes it happens specially with Gabriel’s or other cheap ones.

I would double check on that front cab bushings you already replaced. Just lurk in there, see how are they doing.
Also, not hard to see your cab is kinda rusty. Could be the material is just tired and whole thing has no structural rigidity anymore. Just saying, nothing is forever.

I'm driving a friend's Volvo while he tends to his sick mother out of state. I too thought that his 2010 rode very rough. I found that the sway bar / torque bar / stabilizer bar or whatever you want to call it had severe wear. It's the horizontal bar between your air bags. It is a square pipe in a larger square pipe with a rubber bushing in between. I did some research and found that the poor design allows a lot of left to right movement, also making your bags sag to one side or the other. I replaced that poor design with Volvo part number 20727214. They use this bracket on their day cabs instead of the junk I mentioned. It made a world of difference in the ride and particularly the alignment of the cab on the chassis. Was not expensive either. $18.00 per plate, you'll need two. Go to you tube and put this in the search bar VOLVO vnl DIY replace rear cab mounts fixing cab shifted problem. Then spend $35.00 bucks and spend a hour putting them in. You will have no regrets.

Cab shifted to one side is because of front bushings worn out. You didn’t fix the issue, just fixed the cab in place, still need to do front bushings.
