Need some help with 07 Volvo with D16. Driving and just all of a sudden no tach, water temp, oil temp and pyro. Left side of cluster completely dead. Traced yellow and green twisted wires throughout truck and no breaks anywhere. Appreciate some advice not interested in going to dealer for this issue thanks.

Had that problem before, but tbh i dont remember what i did to fix it.. cant remember if it was the big black connector down the firewall, or somewhere around that area, but if im not mistaken is something related to the j1939 twisted cables. Sorry i cant remember exactly what was done to fix it

I actually found the issue. Checked the continuity in my 400/401 wires running from 9 pin in cab to 9 pin on engine and found one wire to be bad. I rewired my 400/401 and all gauges kicked back in. So I would check your J1939 yellow and green twisted and your J1587 black twisted that run from the 9 pin in the truck to the 9 pin on the engine with a volt meter for continuity.
