Maybe somebody can help me out.
I ve got new Volvo vnl 760 2019 model. Drove for 11 months ,we are team drive so we put 210000 miles on it.suddenly compressor started pumps every 20 second, so I checked for air leaks, there is no air leaks, I took to a dealer ship spent a day up there ,they said there is a problem with the trailer ,my trailer is 1 month old brand new, and I still took to mechanic and there is no problem with it. So I decided to take to another dealership, same thing they check with computer no codes, mistakes nothing.in the end they changed AlR GOVERNER,AIR DRYER,AND AIRCOMPRESSOR.And nothing changed .compressor still pumps every 10-20 seconds sometimes drop 1 psi and started pumping.one thing what I realized when temperature is cold and raining it starts working better, sometimes with no issues. At this moment I have no idea what to do,because nobody knows what’s up,and dealerships can not give unswer

A leaking fan clutch will cause that and is very hard to hear the leak. It will also not leak if the key is off and the fan solenoid is not supplying air to the fan clutch. Is the fan staying on all the time or sounding like it's speeding up then slowing down?
You can disconnect the air line at the solenoid, apply air to the line with a rubber tip blow gun (engine off), and the fan clutch should operate with no leaks.Cattlepuller3406, KB3MMX, Johny41 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thank you for reply
The fan stays on all the time, speeding up only when going up hill with heavy load.
Will take it to mechanic and will tell him exactly what you said to see if they can fix it -
And it’s only happened while I am driving
When I am parked with engine off ,everything is working great -

Fan should not be on all the time that's another issue...
On the Volvo air dryer you are probably going to want to change the compressor check valve on the inlet.... they will become bad and then let air to back cycle through the compressor when the governor is off.... Causing repeated Governor cycling -
I was wrong about fan
I checked it
It’s not on all the time,it turns and turn off
And I have change Air dryer, air compressor and air governer all brand new -
Did you replace the input check valve though ??

That’s honestly I do not know if they did as everything was doing by dealership by warrantyKB3MMX Thanks this.
