Can the sensor itself be replaced or does it have to be the whole assembly? My pedal isn't working for the kickdown to make it downshift on its own. In 12th gear slam pedal to floor and it just accelerates slowly.
Truck is a 13 volvo with D13 and Ishift.

I am not on this but I assume you have had the kick down mode installed before the issue stopped?KB3MMX Thanks this.

It hasn't worked since I bought the truck. It has the resistance point, where it I guess clicks down before going all the way to floor but doesn't downshift. To knowledge from seller, it did auto downshift before.Siinman Thanks this.

You may want to get a readout of the settings first to verify it is in it. I would start at that point since I do not trust anyone on what they say when buying something.KB3MMX Thanks this.

Do trucks that don't have kick down have the click feeling on the pedal?
-
Yes. It is a parameter that can be enabled or disabled for kickdown.
-
My truck does not have a click and has kick down.
-
Well XE package with premium shifter. If that doesn't include kickdown then idk. No way to check to see if it's enabled through dash on the truck? Has to go to dealer for a read out?
-
This guy is 100 percent correct and the reason I said you need a read out of the parameters to confirm it has it. Most likely the owner had no clue what a kick down was.KB3MMX Thanks this.

Has to go to dealer for this?
