Volvo VNL D13 P269800 Code solutions ( 2014 VNL 670 )

1.What year is your truck and mileage??
2.Condition for this code: Exhaust temperature lower than expected. It’s monitoring exhaust temperature sensor at the bottom of dpf, to see its readings you need computer. Or replace it and hope for the best it’s relatively cheap.

 

My friend had this fault and root cause was an air dryer filter.
First truck went to dealer and it was under warranty and half of the emission system was replaced. After that truck was good for little over a year same fault came back,went back to dealer and it was out of warranty, so he got an estimate for 4500$. After looking at the problem we found out that there was oil contamination in line for AHI dosing valve, we replaced the valve and installed air dryer filter that takes oil out from air not only water(wrong filter was installed at TA service), so far truck did around 40k miles no problem.

 

How's it going now? My 2016 just popped up with this. So it's the air dryer?

Had p269800 AHI MODULE was replaced, 7th INJECTOR was replaced, regen was done and gone
