They are fogged a little. Seems like from the inside. They aren't properly aimed either. They're both pointed kind of to the right. I found the up and down adjustment but don't think there is one for side to side or is there?
Thank you for the info. I saw one volvo at a pilot in Kentucky, he had some super bright led, the ones you could actually see the LED circles or whatever they are called (the circles similar to them LED trailer tail lights), I wished I'd asked him where he got those.
Yep. Deer are a regular deal, nearly everyday. I drive both directions through a large, timbered area, with dispersed cornfields, and is in a creek bottom. I’m inbound at night and outbound early in the morning. I DO regularly set off the OER, avoiding them. I have a bumper guard for added protection, as well. There was mention of me getting a new truck, which have the LED headlights. But, they’re no longer parked beside the shop, so probably not happening, afterall. I don’t care. I’m good with what I have, as my gauges aren’t randomly going to go blank like the new trucks’ display panels. Haha.
I don’t believe so. But, the beams are pretty wide, so they should still be shining onto the roadway. Those are “angel eyes” and can be found at any chrome shop and online. They don’t last, as they’re offshore garbage.
I will have to check. It's a possibility I suppose that my headlamp projector clips may be broken. Could be they're not bouncing all over cause they're in a bind in the housing.
I just wasn't sure about buying a random 10000k H11 HID kit with 55w ballast for $80 and it either not work or I do it wrong and end up with no lights at all.
The lack of resistance in those will probably cause issues with the Volvo BCM. It’s going to need to see resistance within its parameters. I did a set of HIDs in a motorcycle I had with dual projector beams. I could see better, but, not great. And, I was constantly getting brighted.
Yeah they come with, for an additional cost, resistors or some kind of ECM canceling. The guy I bought the truck from I remember seeing on one of the work orders the ECM or LCM whichever it was, had been flashed for LED lights. But those lights are garbage. High beams are fine but low beams absolutely are garbage.
