    I was interested in how you did this also, I have a new (used) 07 Volvo 780 and would like to possibly get it even quieter although it is NOT a noisy interior, I actually love it.

    Great thread btw.

    1st - you'll need about +/_ $1500/ on the low side, you'll need to buy heat gun, linoleum roller, I used the cobalt roller from the Lowes and I like it very well. good degreaser - paint thinner/acetone/ something like that- make sure it is good and not junk, you need have great supplies in order to do great job.
    Then, you'll need a minimum like a week time to do an ENTIRE truck.

    Hey MrKtwiz, did you buy that 780 from US Express then lease on with them? Just wondering if they sold those direct. I saw a lot of them on the market when I was looking to buy my 780. But they all had the two peddal auto and not a fan. Also didn't like that the ones I looked at had power passenger window and crank driver. But I hear they have three pedal in fleet. Just wondering.

    Not that I have seen. Mine dyno'd great and was able to see full maintance records.

    You also want to look at who held the lease for any truck you buy coming off lease. Volvo's financing arm at the time required maintance records be provided on semi annual basis. I learned this when looking at a different truck that only had warranty work available. A mechanic that was a service manager at Schieder explained how that worked.

    Anyone had replaced their stock CB coax with the better one? Then Please tell me how you got that thing Outside of your cab? I can not seem to find any way to run it outside, for the acception of cutting it in half. All of the input will be helPfull. Thanx.
