You mean as in union? No, those are evil, we are better off at the expense of what companies want. I mean who would want a pension and raises every year to keep up with inflation? And an actual vote on some of the things that happen in your company? That's ridiculous, we should just let the safety department dictate what's best. Vorad, cameras, sensors, E-logs, everything, and don't worry about pay! We need to keep this company as profitable as it can be so it can buy more Cascadias, safety vests and sensors to keep us safe!

It's much better to scream about people who actually fought for what they believed in and call them names and lazy and then whine when we aren't united. Lol. Too funny. Too tragically stupid too. Yeah well. Enjoy those cameras kids. You wanted them!!
truckon, Raiderfanatic and blairandgretchen Thank this. -

You leave Prime because they put interior cameras in their trucks, so you go to ABC company. ABC company puts interior cameras in their trucks, so you quit and go to XYZ company. XYZ company puts cameras in their trucks and you quit. By this time, every single company has interior cameras in their trucks....sooner or later it's going to happen. The way I see it, you'll end up having 3 choices....keep driving for a company and deal with the camera, buy your own truck and become an O/O or get out of trucking altogether.

The interior camera's are no problem. I was nervous about them as well. My company tested them out in a 100 trucks for almost a year. Now there in all the trucks. This thing hasn't came on to record and send anything to safety yet. Now if you have a problem with maintaining your lane while texting, talking, or anything else then they may be a problem. But the one I have I have hit rumble strips etc, backed under my trailer, hit a dock and truck shook and nothing. After a few days you forget its even there. At night or when I stop I use it as a hat rack. It's coming folks. Break some of your bad habits before a DRIVE CAM be looking at you.
