I started with Voyager 4 1/2 weeks ago. My first impressions are good in general. In fact I can not qualify a company after 4.5 weeks but here is my opinion:
They are "human". When I applied I have told the person in HR that I have a drinking habit while off duty that caused all the problems in the past. He understood, started working with them really quick.
You must be kind of ok financially. I saw my first pay check almost 4 weeks after I started working with them. They will advance you cash but God forbids you have a big break down.... Or I do not know.... maybe they can help
Compared to what they promise on CL (pay between 2500-3500 per week) it has been in average lower. In fact only one week was above 2500 before starting costs (escrow, plates)
Dispatch is awesome! After so many companies where I was looking for loads myself, I took a different approach this time and told her to not even call me and ask if I want a load or not. (I gave as rational that she is the best person to know what is good or not for a truck) I think I scared her a little but my 5-th week I will have a check for almost 4000$ (depends how much I fuel on my last load)
They are conditional with FMCSA due to a load of batteries that has been considered hazmat. I got 2 inspections since I started but I guess it is bad luck.
I think they do not work with TQL (which I am not sure if it is good or bad - all problem loads are TQL loads)
