I have been driving a 2004 w900 daycab for the last month. It runs well, and drives well. I can really feel the engine in the cab. I changed engine and cab mounts. I have studied this arrangement and I can't figure out how the noise is transmitted. I have a pete 357 with a 3176 that sounds exactly the same and looks exactly the same and you can't feel or here it in the cab. The dealer sold me some orange uerathane engine mounts. I pulled rubber ones out. They were toast. Are the urethane mounts to stiff? Is there something in the cab mount area that could be the problem? I can't seem to figure out how, but it feels like the cab is to tight to the frame and the engine to tight to the frame. Thanks for any help. I really love this truck.![]()

Those Stemco-Gaff should be taken out and put in garbage can where they belong. Get the OEM ones from KW.

Did pulling out poly bushings fix your problem? I’m having the same issue.

Yes it did. I found the factory rubber ones. It made a huge difference.
