Ya keeping stuff original is not a concern for me. As it works it’s getting completely restored. It’s in good shape even now. The 8v92ta had a comp Inframe from previous owner year and a half ago. She runs like your grandfathers wrist watch.

Pic of the old girl. Maybe I’ll document it all for guys with issues as i restore my own cars and trucks too and am gonna redo it all. I was actually thinking of removing the cab and retro fitting it to a newer Kenworth that the cabs been wrecked on. Anyone you guys know done that. Sorry getting off track on subject.

Man that is so cool thanks for the information. Awesome to see how the truck came built. So is that wiring diagram you sent the same then. I was actually thinking about getting rid of the red dot ac on top and just getting a ac unit from a newer wrecked Kenworth from be late 80s or 90’s. I wanna delete that big honking unit on top. Cleaner looking. I know I could do a aftermarket unit but so many units to retro fit from a wrecker for cheaper

I would have to look thru it more to see if is the same diagram, but probably different with roof mount. @W900AOwner did a pretty A/C conversion on his truck from vintage air I believe. That is the route I am going with mine too. He might chime in. He has a real cool thread on the build of his.
