I have a 1998 W900L and the rear end is shacking. When you kick the tire it moves back and forth. The Kenworth dealership gave a complete swaybar with bushings which was the wrong part for this truck. Does anyone know what part this is and the best way to fix it? I have posted a picture and video.

Could be your wheel bearings are shot.
Other things that can cause this is bad shocks, spring bushings, and loose nuts wearing out the wheel holes for studs. Or bad tires, but all these can cause bad tire wear as well. I've had experience with all of these issues. -
That is the ag200 wish bone sway bars. Kenworth gave you the upgraded sway bars that are the wafer bars. What you have is the worst suspension Kenworth made. Change it to the ag400 suspension wafer bars. They bolt directly in.

That old AG200 suspension likely needs bushings. They were bad about wearing them out. Often.
This happened to mine. Twice. Not a good situation. I swapped it to the AG400. Haven't had any problems since.2CAN, Dirty-Low-Walker, lantern756 and 2 others Thank this. -
You can save a lot of money if you get the ag400 wafer bars from a salvage yard. Kenworth usually wants around 3 grand for all the parts. Vander haggs sold me a complete 2013 ag400 sway bars last week for $750.00 Swapped them in on a 98 I purchased with that crappy ag200.
OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR and ShooterK2 Thank this. -
What is said here.....^^^^^^^
For those with AG100 like mine, this is the best replacement bushing I have seen so far.

Do you have a link to the replacement parts to replace just the bushings? Thanks
-
Here is a link to vander haggs. They have a bunch of locations all of the country. You can change those wafer bars in like 2 to three hours. You will need new bolts for the in caps.
