The tests today are not the same as when I took mine back in the 60's

With the INTERNET questions and answers can be found making study a bunch easer ...There was a book you could buy with sample questions but not the same ones on tests ...

When I took the old First class radiotelephone in the 60's Now a GROL There was 3 parts to it AND a radiotelegraph one you could take too .... long gone ..Tubes load lines tuned lines and diagrams for them which you had to draw/decycer yep very different ...

Wow, a new category of radios, rug roasters! Get some cinder blocks and a plank of wood to get them up off that insulated blanket of carpet and padding.

I had to look twice at your name. My cousins name is Robert Horvath. Close! :) My moms maiden name is Horvath. Both yours and hers are a spinoff of Hrvat, a Hungarian name. Though my relatives live in Austria.

The test is a lot different now I remember seeing study guides circa. 1945 and thumbing through them for about 10 minutes (as a teen it was all greek to me). Recently I found a practice site and passed (technician) with no preparation. Can't post it yet but searching for "aa9pw" is sure to get you there I might still know where those study guides are. I think I'll see if I can find them and see how greek they are now.

Sure is a lot harder to take the internet with you when you go to the bathroom for a little reading.
