Just bought a 2020 Pete 579. Has onguard on it. Continuous problems with it and they said needs a new harness. $4000. Does anyone know of a shop that can delete it? This is getting annoying. Peterbilt won’t delete and remove cause if it came with it the manufacturer gives them hell if they delete it. They even suggest I find an outside shop to get it done. What you highlighted is ABS and does not say Onguard like many of the other codes. Whether both are related to the same harness they want to replace is another story. While you might find someone to disconnect the Onguard you won't find someone to disconnect the ABS. And why would you even want that and risk the liability? Dealers like to replace harnesses. Another poster was quoted about 10k for 2 harnesses on a Pete. An electrical shop repaired them for about 1k. I think your best bet would be to go to an electrical shop and get the ABS codes/harness taken care of. These are inactive codes but likely to come back and the problem get worse and more frequent. Other codes say (the 2nd and 4th down from your last highlight): Malfunction in the ABS caused Onguard to be temporarily disabled.

Not wanting to delete the abs. It all runs through the harness of the onguard unless programmed to operate without onguard in the cab controller. All codes are inactive but when they pop up, they reset when I turn the ignition off and back on. So none of the codes have lasted longer than a key cycle

The various modules or ECU's on the data link need a good clean power supply to work properly. CAN and J1939 communication faults can result from low voltage to an ECU. Did the dealer go over all the battery cable connections and grounds and various power supplies coming from the batteries and frame grounds and cab grounds and cab power?
Lots of undocumented faults, Did the dealer contact the support department for On-Guard? The dealer would have the contact info for technical support. Undocumented faults could be caused by power supply issues. Are there any software updates that need to be done on any of the ECU's?
Before replacing a harness one can test the continuity and leakage to ground of every suspect wire in the problem circuit.
You want to check the simple things first.

I heard that a kind of cover can cause the radar to cause troubles. Removing that cover solved the problem. Instructed by Peterbilt.
