Try 10 days. As much freight as there is to be moved, there isn't a reason why anybody should sit in my mind. 9 days is way too patient in my book

Did you piss your dispatcher off?
-
Are you an O/O ? i'd assume you were because if you were working for someone they should be paying you for layover and you could enjoy the holiday and claim any hotel expenses as tax deductible. Thats is what happens when they / you give no thought to the destination and how much freight is moving back the other way learn from this so you won't have a re-occurrence and loss of income again..

Of course he is a troll
Sometimes you just got to feed them lolshogun Thanks this. -
Let's say that if you are sitting more than a day or two at most without a very specific reason why, Dispatch is waiting for you to run out of money and quit on your own.
It's more of a punishment thing for something done in the recent past that is done once in a while against drivers who do not behave or have become unwelcome in the Dispatch.
Most people cannot stand to sit more than two days without getting a explicit explanation as to why or get a new load and roll. If you cannot get anything out of dispatch, you probably will quit when your personal money finally runs out.
For the most part I lean towards others who think this is a troll thread. Surely you are not stupid enough to sit 9 days with no income. If you ARE, then we are the stupid ones for feeding. -
