Waiting on CDL Training...

ya know you may feel alone, scared of the unknown......but its really nice to know....im not alone......there are others with the same thoughts and worries. its encouraging! may i see you all on the road and get to say hi !

 

and then there was one........one day of school left. yehhhhhhhhhhhhhh! i got to drive 3.5 hours today... instructor took us down every back country state route you could ever think of... lemme put it this way at one point my partner was driving and didnt see the 45 curve ahead sign and yes... put the right drive tire off the road in the gravel...i thought i was dead......how we didnt go in the ditch i'll never know...i saw'd the angels! pay attention and quit blabin with the instructor! i think the guy pissed himself.cause the back of his neck sure was bright red! at any rate... its going great......funny to think about driving today compared to day one... i can look back now and laugh.....still along way to go though. test in one week ..yeah! going in friday and monday TO PRACTICE MANUVERS (ON MY OWN) not required to go anymore but it couldnt hurt! cant learn sittin at home for a week. till next time >--->

 

HAPPY NEW YEAR ! well school is over and guess what......yep, right now their calling for a wintery mix tuesday..... im hoping like usual their wrong....need to get going on something.

 

imagine that...me entertaining people. what has the world come to?! at any rate Tuesday is looking real hairy right now.....calling for rain-freezing rain-and snow pleasssssssse wait until i take my test ! i'll be up all night Monday doing my indian no-precip dance. at this point i need to pass and get my cdl and haul cow s#$% in the back of my pick-up if someone will pay me for it ! just worried that it'll start snowing Tuesday and not stop until April or May. lol just my luck eh ?

 

alright........still not sure how i got my CDL today but......I DID ! i could write a book about my experience today but i dont have the time my kids hungry. i left at 6:30 am to go to wilmington, ohio where my school is to ride in the tractor, trailer to take my test. it usually takes one hour. i got to the test site at 9:45 am . first test was at 10:00 am. route 35 east was salted- not bad to drive on. i got off on route 68 south. not-salted. wreck after wreck after wreck. sit for 30 min because they closed the road. called the school.. we can only wait for you until 8:45 am we gotta go. i said i'll just meet you at the test site and take the 12:30 test. luckily there was a driveway where i was parked on rt.68 so i turned around. used my gps and took everyback road there ever was. made it to another state route finally and it was salted. the rest of the way was salted. i just got home at 5:00 pm. im a greenhorn ! a newbie ! look out world here comes another new driver.....hide your kids and lock up your wives. no more posts here. goto my ROEHL diary to continue........LATER >--->
