Better get it before it disappears. Kind of like my meds I had at Walgreens. Was on road and took me 5 days to get to Walgreens to pick up. Show up and it is no longer available and had to reorder. Sure someone sold it to another customer since they do not stock the med.Blue jeans, Vampire, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this.

How much you want for it?

For sure. I got paranoid a couple weeks ago and had them send me the signed paperwork. We normally do these zero down and on a hand shake (virtual one at that) I must say, I’ve only met this gentleman in person once and he stuck to his word. I still am annoyed the March trucks were cancelled but realize that was KW and not his fault.
Boy I don’t know. I was talking to my wife about this today. I’m sure we’ll keep them but if we did sell I’d be curious what to price at. Especially if paired with a 21 van or 22 reefer.
You in the market already?
lol I’d give you the player price.

You could probably get 170-180K for the tractor easy…….I assume you would make a decent profit at that price.

I saw today someone has a 2022 Peterbilt 389 for sale on Truckpaper.com with about 10k miles on it. The ad says $300k and the price will continue to go up. Looked like a pretty stock unit too.

I’m worried about needing a Trailer. 08’s like mine are selling for almost double the price from 2 yrs ago. My neighbor bought a new Stoughton, at the right time. $34, or $36k. I forget exactly. I suggested he look at Stoughtons, as he couldn’t find a Wabash under $40k. Should have taken my own advice. If I can find the same for $45k, and sell mine for $16k. It would end up a wash. Either way balance would be $28-$30k financed. I doubt one can be found easily for $45k. I’ll just have to fix mine if needed.

I’m gonna need 2 trailers to really go back to work….. but she’s a year minimum from being able to be alone in the house….

Same here. I used to always look through the Truck paper every week. Watching prices. It’s been a while. Hard to say how it will all shake out eventually. I’m wondering how long the rates will support the high prices. Potential repo disaster waiting to happen. May take 2-3 yrs. I wonder what the average repo will look like. In 2000-2001, it was 1 yr old with 100k still under warranty less the 2/3 price it was new. $100k Classics selling at auction for $50k. I bought a 99 for $69k with 170k miles extended warranty. 6 mo later a friend bought a 2000 with 100k for same price. 6 mo afterwards another friend bought a 2000 with 70k for $59k. It was loaded with leather seats. Freightliner of Grand Rapids, selling them like crazy. I called the auction, got the selling prices. They were buying them for 10k less than they sold them for. Volume Volume, the other Dealers hate them for that. They’ve always been big on used Trucks, like others in the Grand Rapids area. Good town to buy a Truck.Blue jeans, bzinger, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this.
