    My aunt made fruitcake for everyone in the family a couple of years ago. I forgot about mine and it wound up under a pile of newspapers in the woodshed. I found it last week. I threw it in the burn barrel.
    Those things have a shelf life like nuclear waste.

    In other news, I was told I gave off a serial killer vibe. I can't imagine it's the mayo.

    If you’re not willing to make changes to how you run your business then you should stop with the woe is me I guess I’ll never date a Victoria Secret model attitude then. For a lot of people the equipment they buy isn’t the end as you describe. They’ve gotten themselves into a niche market that makes their equipment choice very sustainable. If I had any sense I would be looking for a different truck so I could be hooked to a bottle or a tank but I know I’d be unhappy doing that no matter what the money is. But I don’t feel sorry for myself because my friends are making an insane amount of money doing it.

    You missed out on a potential party in your mouth.

    Many years ago my sister made me a batch of "Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies" for Christmas. These things are BEYOND delicious (even withstanding my emotional attachment), but challenging to make. In an error of loading, one of the tupperwares was stowed under the bunk and forgotten about. Nine months later they appeared to be the same, but they were the definition of non-edible. Just because something can withstand the ravages of time doesn't mean it wasn't absolutely delicious in it's prime.

    Fresh beef, seasoned right makes a great burger/taco, yet McDonalds and Taco Bell continue to serve their crap which denigrates the definition of what a burger or taco is. Real fruitcake is delicious, the fact that you can eat it years past it's prime without dying (except of thirst) is a testament to it.

    It's the pickles that do it. The desire for excessive mayo makes people cross the street, it's the extra pickles that get the cops called on you.

    Okay, since we're this far off topic anyway....POTATO SALAD....containing dill pickles or sweet pickles? There was an actual fist fight over this one year at Dad's house. Aunt Irene and Aunt Small Feather each brought a salad, one with dill and one with sweet. It got ugly real fast. The kids were amazed, those gals could punch.

    German potato salad: sweet pickles go good against the savory of the bacon.

    Mayonnaise n potato (salad) ought to be pieces of celery (?)

    is there another kind I’m unfamiliar with?
