Yep that is what he was doing. Asked if he could look at my trailer and get some dims to do it himself. Was worried I would see him doing something around my truck because of all my cameras. So he waited until I was in the yard to ask. He was a nice guy and told him he could do it anytime. He was pretty worried about getting in trouble with my cameras all over the truck. Seems they are doing the job I wanted them to do!

How much does it cost to add on? Do you do it at your own shop or have someone do it? Glad you are getting things going and ready to put the new iron on the road!

Yes I've bought a couple from Jim Hawk. They are definitely a bit higher but you don't have too many options when you need a trailer and they are the only ones with inventory on the ground.

I am out sourcing these. they are a partner of the dealership I bought the trucks from.

I COULD have gotten them cheaper but the quality of these guys and their warranty is what I'm more interested out.

20K steerable drop axle is about $12k per truck.

That is reasonable for someone you trust doing the work.

Bout like my salesman said. There’s better ways to spend 30-40k glitzing a truck up.

There’s a guy with a video on TikTok telling everyone he paid $310k for his 389x.

what kind of weight can you permit for?

I gotta say the northeast way makes the most sense… 3 axle tractor with 3 axle trailer 99K to 107K depending on the state…..

    Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.
