Are you saying you want 2?

PACCAR financial is running the deal otherwise I don't think any bank would give a loan in this market for it. I keep on saying but orders do not mean sales for these manufacturer.

If I had 340k cash…..I wouldn’t buy a truck. I would continue whatever adventure put 340k in my pocket. I’m sure it #### sure wasn’t trucking

Pacarr financial lot in SC is completely full of Trucks. One good thing about them is financing. When credit is tight, and cash isn’t an option. Buying a Repo at auction for a great price may not be possible. Making a deal with Paccar, including financing can be a win win. You can get a great deal on the Truck, and get financing. They lose less money.

This is what my dealer told me.
Anyway, we are definitely starting to see a softening in the market. Only had one bigger customer cancel their order though so our order board is still full through 2023.

In regards to pricing, Volvo is always late to respond to market changes. They're still not giving us good discounts at all. A truck spec'd similarly to yours right now would be well over 200K without any warranties on it.

I just asked my buddy at WS dealer to spec out a heavy haul tri-axle tractor. Decked out, 36 inch sleeper, full extended warranty and most expensive transmission (Allison 7 speed) was $230K.

These other dealers are out to lunch, but probably only because guys have actually been buying them at the ridiculous prices.

The freightliner dealer in Wisconsin charged $210/hr last week.
My independent shop that does most of my work raised his rate from $100 to $125/hr last week.
