Actual truck (not this one for the show) will have a RAM C sized ball mounted here in the position indicated below. The little rectangular black piece of rubber adjacent to that is for routing the wires under the dash. It's actually very clean and works well to keep wires out of the way.

Well made an offer on a 579 today. I told them with my trade (2022 389) I'd be a buyer at a $30K difference and they came back with $40K. It was a respectable counter and sure the heck beat the $57K difference Rush offered me back in February (for the exact same specd 579) but there will be no neogotions in this deal as my price is firm. I will not be losing any sleep if it sells as there will probably 2 other ones come available next week if it does.

You’d easily make up that $10K, in under 6mos. Meanwhile, that 389 will keep chugging fuel, costing you money.

Siinman and Long FLD Thank this.

Oh no doubt. It’s definitely playing a part in me looking but my concern is buying too soon. With the tight credit market and crappy freight market how many buyers are really out there?

ducnut, dwells40 and Siinman Thank this.

Your trade may decrease at the same rate or faster as the new one though.

Is the fuel mileage in your new trucks holding steady , now that they have some miles on them ?

    Siinman Thanks this.

I’ve been getting around 5.5MPG on this one. My other 389 is around 5.3.

It’s definitely a gamble risking if my trade will decline and/or new truck prices come back to reality. The dealer did say they aren’t giving squat for trade-ins unless you have a 2022 or newer KW or Pete, which I do. Lol

Feedman, ducnut and Siinman Thank this.
